Danse Macabre opened in 2024 replacing Spookslot. The ride concept was made in collaboration between Efteling and Intamin and will be the first Dynamic Motion Stage ride to be built.
The story of the ride revolves around the Charlatan's who's great-great-grandfather conductor disappeared and their journey to discover what happened to him.
