The term "you" or "user" refers to an individual which has created a RideDex account and uses the services and/or contributes content to them.
The term "RideDex", "service" or "we" refers to the RideDex website and any related services including but not limited to mobile applications published by RideDex.
1. What information do you collect?
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register for the service and / or when you contact us.
We do not process sensitive personal information nor do we collect any information from third parties.
The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

- Username
- Contact preferences
We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, like your Google, Facebook, X, or other social media account. If you choose to register in this way, we will collect certain profile information about you from the social media provider.
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
2. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and other data to deliver the full RideDex experience, such as signing in, track outages and protect against abuse.
If you opt-in, we track what pages you've used to help us deliver a better experience. This is completely anonymized and we do not use cookies to perform this.
Our tracking is powered by Vercel, which you can learn more about at https://vercel.com/docs/analytics. We do not use Google Analytics.
3. Who do you share my personal information with?
We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents ('third parties') who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not share your personal information with any organisation apart from us. They also commit to protect the data they hold on our behalf and to retain it for the period we instruct.

4. Where is my data stored and is it secure?
We use servers located in the United States, United Kingdom and European Economic Area (EU).
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
5. Do you collect information from minors?
We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 7. Do I have the right to be forgotten?
Yes, you have the right to request that we remove your personal data. Please contact us if you would like your data to be removed.

We may modify this policy from time to time without warning or notice and it is your responsibility to read them carefully and review any changes that may have been made. Your continued use of services constitutes your agreement with such modifications.
