Jaws was an iconic boat ride based off the movie franchise. The ride suffered numerous issues after it opened and eventually Universal shut the ride and Intamin were bought in to rebuild the ride.

In 2011 Universal announced the ride would close making way for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
