Six Flags New Orleans

Six Flags New Orleans closed in 2005 due to the damaged caused by Hurricane Katrina. Most rides were destroyed due to the salt-water which took over a month to leave the area after the hurricane hit. Six Flags had planned to reopen the park however due to the costs involved the decision was made to permanently close it and relocate some of the rides.

The park originally opened in 2000 as Jazzland before Six Flags took over the park in 2003.
