Opened as Euro Disney in 1992 as the second Disney Park outside of the United States. The park was run by a holding company (Euro Disney SCA) until 2017 when The Walt Disney Company acquired the business and took full control over the running of the resort.
The park forms part of the Disneyland Paris Resort along side Walt Disney Studios Park.
