Mack Rides has introduced a groundbreaking multi-launch water coaster, set to be installed at Freizeitpark Plohn. The ride, a world first of its kind, is scheduled to open in 2026.

"This groundbreaking attraction combines roller coaster thrills with splashes and waves," said a spokesperson for Mack Rides. "We eagerly anticipate this amazing project alongside the dedicated Völkel family!"

The ride's debut will coincide with Freizeitpark Plohn's 30th anniversary. "The world’s first multi-launch water coaster will make its rounds at our leisure park Plohn," the park stated. "If you are only half as enthusiastic and anticipating as we are, then our enthusiasm increases immeasurably."

The project was officially confirmed at the IAAPA Expo Europe 2024 in Amsterdam, where the park’s junior leader, Jan Völkel, signed the contract with Mack Rides. "For our 30th anniversary in 2026, we are giving ourselves and you a very special gift," Völkel explained. "With the world’s first Water Coaster with Multi LIM Launch, we are not only fulfilling a dream, but also want to say thank you to our loyal and steadily growing fan base in a very special way."

He further emphasized the uniqueness of the ride, adding, "The action-packed yet family-friendly orientation of the major attraction will perfectly complement the diverse offer of our park. It is no coincidence that we have once again specifically opted for the familiar partnership with Mack Rides, and thus for a real 'Mack product.'"

The multi-launch water coaster will feature thrilling curves, steep descents, sharp turns, and a second launch before culminating in a grand splash. With an investment of approximately €11.5 million, the coaster will offer a 500-meter-long track, complete with features such as a high five zone and the Twisted Airtime Hill.

Völkel also hinted at the ride’s detailed theming: "You can also look forward to the planned theming. We want to meet our own high standards for an elaborate design of the major attraction and also your expectations, in keeping with the location of the spectacular novelty at the ponds." He assured fans that the new addition would integrate seamlessly with the park’s natural charm.
