Scorpion at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay to close

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay have announced Scorpion, it's Schwarzkopf Looping Roller Coaster is due to close permanently on the 2nd September 2024 after 44 years.
The ride opened in May 1980 and is one of only three 'Silver Arrow' models built.
The park are yet to announce a future attraction which will replace the ride but hinted on their instagram “this closure paves the way for future thrills".
